Vitamin D, Sunlight, and Natural Living – A Traditional Perspective

Many students today ask why people living in other countries often suffer from Vitamin D deficiency. The common reason given is the lack of sufficient sunlight due to climate and lifestyle. While this is true to an extent, the deeper understanding lies in how human beings adapt to nature.

Wherever we live, the human body has the natural ability to adapt to the environment. Problems arise not because of nature, but because we move away from natural living.

If we practice regularly in a natural way, align our lifestyle with nature, and respect traditional practices, many health issues will not arise.

More importantly, we must follow three key principles:

1. Regional – Eat and live according to the place where you live

2. Seasonal – Follow seasonal food habits and routines

3. Original (Traditional) – Respect traditional food and lifestyle practices

When these three are followed consistently, the body naturally becomes strong and balanced.

We should also change the modern mindset of constantly calculating food in terms of protein, vitamins, and minerals. Food alone is not the problem.

What truly matters is:

• The body’s capacity to convert food into energy

• The body’s ability to preserve and utilize that energy properly

If the digestive system, metabolism, and internal balance are strong, whatever simple natural food we eat will nourish the body effectively.

Therefore, focus more on natural practice, disciplined lifestyle, proper digestion, and energy preservation, rather than worrying excessively about supplements and nutrients.

When the body is trained naturally, it knows how to heal, adapt, and sustain itself.
